Sue Faber - Founder of LymeHope and Lyme Letters Campaign - 'The Domino Effect'

This is one of my all time favorite u-tube videos.  Did you know that a single domino can knock over another domino which is 1.5 times larger?  If there were 29 dominos in this demonstration, the last domino would be the size of the Empire State Building!  Talk about amazing!

​When I first saw this video, I thought of all of us in the Lyme trenches - those of us who have been fighting to be recognized and heard, for our illness to be validated.  When you live in the Lymelands, it is a very isolating and lonely place to be - it is easy to withdraw and enter into a downward cycle of despair and hopelessness - to think that in our weakness and struggle, we can't amount to much.  But wait - NOT TRUE! 

I see myself as the tiny domino at the end - only 5 millimeters high and 1 millimeter thick - in and of itself, it is small and inconsequential.  But when this domino gets pushed into action..WOW..it packs a powerful punch.  It just needs for the energy to be released and for that chain reaction to start.
